Toyota Innova Hycross Safety – Fetches 5-Star Rating!

Recently, Toyota tested its Hycross under the Bharat NCAP protocols. The models that were tested were the 8-seater VX8S and the ZX7S SHEV models. Results published by the Bharat NCAP crash test facility showcases the Innova scoring 30.47 out of 32 for Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and a remarkable 45 out of 49 for Child Occupant Protection (COP) making it one of the safest cars on sale in India. 

In the frontal offset deformable barrier test, the driver and front passenger have an adequate safety rating for the chest, while the driver’s left tibia also got an adequate rating. Apart from that all other body parts got a good rating. In the side movable deformable barrier test, the dummies received good protection for all body parts. It also had an OK rating in the side pole impact test. This all helped the MPV to secure a whole 5-star safety rating combining all aspects.

The safety features on the model includes six airbags, ISOFIX mounts, ABS with EBD, ADAS, stability control, hill start assist, rear parking sensors and more in its package.
